Produced in Scandinavia between the 1940s and 1950s, this brass table lamp interprets well the quest for essentiality typical of postwar Nordic design. The conical shade and slender structure are balanced by the soft curvature of the flexible stem, designed to easily direct the light. The patina of the brass, which remained visible over the entire surface, restores a warm, lived-in tone that dialogues with the technical character of the lamp. The switch built into the circular base keeps the whole compact and functional, without superfluous decorative elements. Good condition. May show some signs of time.
