“Olympia” version of the famous family of lamps designed by Anders Pehrson for Ateljé Lyktan: cylindrical lacquered metal head with anti-glare diffuser with concentric foils, swiveling arm on double chrome rod with sliding carriage and bakelite/ABS knob, leather-covered disc base adding weight and textural warmth. The design originated in 1972 for the Olympics (set up of the Olympic village and press spaces) and summarizes the Scandinavian idea of controlled light: precise beam toward the plane and soft, glare-free glare on the perimeter. Working electrical system; slight signs of time consistent with age and use.Good condition. May show some signs of age. Please pay attention to photographs.
