Vintage pendant lamp attributable to Sven Middelboe for Nordisk Solar, Scandinavian production from the 1970s. The rounded shade in glossy orange recalls the Space Age design developed in Europe during the space race season, when plastic and saturated colors became the stars of domestic lighting. The structure is complemented by a cylindrical diffuser in white opaline plastic, designed to soften the light and create an upward light diffusion as well. The combination of essential geometry and strong color contrast reflects the experimental character of Nordic lighting of the period. Good condition. May show some signs of age. Please pay attention to the photographs.
