Biomorphic silhouette and light proportions recall the organic research that ran through Nordic design between the 1950s and 1960s, in dialogue with international influences related to American modernism. The teak top has an irregular, fluid profile, accentuated by the slender turned oak legs with brass ferrules. The asymmetrical composition gives the piece an unusual sculptural presence compared to the more rigorous Scandinavian minimalism. Good condition. May show some signs of aging.
