Folding table model “Maria Flap” designed by Bruno Mathsson and produced by Firma Karl Mathsson, with original imprinted trademark dated 1969. Made of oak, the table features an ingenious opening system with four folding wings, each 66 cm long, that allows the surface to be progressively modulated to a maximum length of 283 cm.
The design reflects the philosophy of Mathsson, a central figure in Swedish postwar modernism known for his research into ergonomics, structural lightness and domestic functionality.
