Pair of Swedish nightstands from the 1950s that can be traced back to the season of Nordic modernism, in which attention to the quality of materials is combined with an essential and well-proportioned construction. Teak dialogues with the mahogany top riser, an element with a curved line that introduces a softer sign within the geometry of the cabinet. The tapered legs, slatted lower shelf and small brass handles reflect the typical lexicon of postwar Scandinavian production, oriented toward visual lightness and domestic functionality. Drawers with interlocking joints testify to careful workmanship. Good condition. May show signs of age. Please pay attention to the photographs.
