Birch briar with a vibrant grain covers a Scandinavian 1940s-1950s “nightstand” with a bold, trapezoidal profile, without excess. The drawer is framed by sharp thicknesses, closed by a carved wooden handle, almost a sculptural detail. The glass shelf, set back and light, creates an elegant textural contrast and amplifies the brightness of the piece. Good condition. May show some signs of aging.
