A Scandinavian production from the second half of the twentieth century, this table lamp combines a slender brass frame with a pleated checked fabric shade of a more decorative character. The circular base supported by small spherical feet contributes to the visual lightness of the whole, while the contrast between the linearity of the stem and the soft volume of the lampshade recalls the Nordic domestic taste popular in the 1950s and 1960s. The top cord also allows the opening of the lampshade to be slightly modulated, altering its shape and luminous presence. Good condition. May show some signs of aging.
