Bookcase designed by Bertil Fridhagen for Bodafors in 1964, featuring an oak construction with light and rigorous proportions. The composition combines a storage unit with sliding doors with an open upper structure with adjustable shelves and a large central shelf. The integrated sloping shelf introduces an unusual architectural detail, designed for displaying books and magazines, which breaks the linearity of the composition and emphasizes its design character. The slender uprights and modular layout reflect the language of Swedish Scandinavian Modern of the 1960s. Original maker’s mark present. Good condition. May show signs of time.
