Designed by Paul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen, the “PH 5” is one of the icons of Danish modernism. The system of multiple overlapping screens diffuses light in a soft, controlled manner. The exterior finish is white lacquered metal; the interior, also white, incorporates the model’s typical colored reflective ring that contributes to the quality of the light. Vintage specimen, 1960s. Shows signs of time consistent with use: curved edge in some areas and normal traces of age on paint. Acceptable condition. May show some signs of age. Please pay attention to photographs.
