Pair of Swedish pendant lamps attributable to Hans-Agne Jakobsson for Markaryd, made in the 1950s from pierced polished brass. The soft, tapered silhouette recalls the organic language of postwar Scandinavian design, while the band of microperforations creates a soft light diffusion, an element frequently associated with Jakobsson’s productions. The Swedish designer developed research on indirect and atmospheric light that was destined to profoundly influence mid-century Nordic lighting. Good condition. May show some signs of age. Please pay attention to the photographs.
