Elegant glazed ceramic pendant lamp by “Tilgmans Keramik,” attributed to Marian Zawadzki and made between the 1950s and 1960s. The conical shade has a rich sgraffito decoration with butterflies and botanical motifs, typical of the language of the Gothenburg manufactory at that time. The glossy surface and polychromatic colors – on a deep blue background – dialogue with the turned teak collar, a warm detail that hints at Scandinavian sensibility for natural materials. Clear enameled interior for soft, diffused light.
Good condition. May show some signs of aging. Please pay attention to photographs.
