The “PL Uddebo” desk, designed by Svante Skogh in the 1950s, represents a refined synthesis of Swedish postwar modernism. Made of teak, it features a suspended frame with two side drawers and slightly recessed central compartment, visually lightening the front. The shell-carved handles and rounded edges of the top highlight the attention to craftsmanship typical of Scandinavian production. The model was produced in Sweden for the domestic market during a period of strong functional and formal innovation. Svante Skogh, a designer active in the 1940s and 1960s, is known for elegant and solid furniture characterized by balanced proportions and organic details. The top has a restored but still visible wear defect. Good condition. It may show signs of aging. Please pay attention to the photographs.
