Pair of “Pluto” armchairs designed by Alf Svensson for Kovck Möbler, Malmö, produced in the second half of the 1950s. The curved solid oak frame defines a soft, continuous profile, with linked armrests set at a height of 57.5 cm and light proportions. The well-preserved cushions rest on a seat with internal springs that provide comfort and support. Svensson, a leading figure in Scandinavian modernism, interpreted Nordic design with an elegant and functional language, in dialogue with Swedish mid-century production attentive to organic lines and natural materials. Good condition. May show some signs of time. Please pay attention to the photographs.
