Iconic armchair model “118” designed by Grete Jalk for France & Daverkosen, Denmark, 1960s. The teak frame, with fluid and balanced lines, reflects the designer’s approach, attentive to the dialogue between ergonomics and visual lightness. Grete Jalk, among the few prominent female figures in postwar Danish design, collaborated with France & Daverkosen to define furniture intended for high-quality production, always recognizable for its elegance and formal rigor. The seat and back retain the original structure; the cushions have been redone and reupholstered in a very light beige fabric, respectful of the character of the period.
Good condition. May show some signs of time. Please pay attention to the photographs.
