Series of six chairs with armrests model “BM62,” designed by Børge Mogensen in 1957 and manufactured by P. Lauritsen & Søn (Denmark). The solid oak frame highlights exposed joints and precise workmanship typical of the Danish tradition of the period. The seat and back are made of woven Vienna straw, a natural material that contributes to the visual lightness of the whole. The design, based on orthogonal lines and restrained proportions, reflects Mogensen’s functional approach to domestic design. Good condition. May show some signs of age.
