Scandinavian sideboard made between the 1950s and 1960s from teak, an expression of Northern European production in the transition between postwar functionalism and greater attention to formal quality and materials. The structure is organized with three drawers aligned in the upper band, equipped with integrated wooden handles, and three hinged doors in the lower part that open to compartments with internal shelves. The interior, in lighter wood, creates a chromatic contrast with the exterior, highlighting the care in execution. The proportions are balanced and the raised construction on legs helps define a compact but visually light volume, in keeping with Scandinavian production of the period. Good condition. May show some signs of age. Please pay attention to the photographs.
