The upper drawer features a turned wooden handle, while the lower part is defined by a slatted magazine rack, a functional element typical of Nordic design of the period. The slender, slightly inclined legs lighten the overall volume, while the drawer’s exposed joints testify to craftsmanship in the workmanship. A restrained and measured piece of furniture, an expression of postwar Scandinavian domestic rationalism.
