1960s freestanding bookcase traceable to the Hylla type, a modular system popular in northern European production and also made famous by the String brand, designed by Nisse and Kajsa Strinning in the late 1940s. The painted iron frame supports height-adjustable teak shelves. The modular design allows for flexible configuration, while the contrast between metal and wood restores a visual balance typical of Northern European production of the period. The lower part features an integrated wire magazine rack, a functional element that expands the possibilities of use without weighing down the structure. Good condition. May show some signs of time. Please pay attention to the photographs.
