Oak bookcase designed by Marian Grabinski in the 1960s, a significant example of Nordic functionalist design. The composition is divided into an upper body with open compartments and organizational modules, flanked by an independent lower base with two drawers, 40 cm high, which can also be used separately. The limited depth of the bookcase alone, at 28 cm, emphasizes the rational and architectural vocation of the design. Swedish production guarantees high quality construction and special care for proportions and details. Grabinski, a Polish designer active in the postwar Scandinavian context, developed a sober and rigorous language in which modularity, formal clarity and function coexist in balance.
Good condition. May show signs of time. Please pay attention to photographs.
