Additional information

Made of flamed birch, this chest of drawers features a wavy, decorative grain typical of the Deco period. The compact, well-proportioned frame rests on a raised base with squared legs. The drawer fronts have shaped wooden handles and locks with brass details, solutions in line with northern European Deco production. The placement fits between the 1920s and 1930s, in a context in which the aesthetic rendering of the wooden essence takes a central role in the definition of the piece of furniture. Good condition.
