Danish sideboard produced by Sibast Møbler around the 1960s, made of teak and characterized by a horizontal composition with sliding doors and lower drawers. The internal organization includes shelves and a cup of drawers inserted in the right-hand compartment, designed to hold cutlery and tablecloths, following a functional logic typical of Scandinavian production of the period. The quality of construction is evident in the dovetail joints of the drawers and the integrated handles, carved directly into the wood. The model can be traced to the work of Arne Vodder, a designer closely associated with Sibast, whose sober language and attention to detail it echoes. Good condition. May show some signs of aging. Please pay attention to the photographs.
