Sideboard “model 232” designed by Børge Mogensen in 1964 for FDB and produced by C.M. Madsen as part of the furniture program intended for quality serial production in postwar Denmark. The cabinet is made of teak veneer, with a raised frame on a solid oak base. The front doors have cylindrical handles with a circular brass base, a distinctive detail of this model. The interior is organized with adjustable shelves and a series of drawers, made with dovetail joints. The trademark “FDB Møbler” is featured on the back. Børge Mogensen has developed many designs for FDB with the goal of creating functional, durable and accessible furniture. This model is part of that production, with solid construction and solutions designed for everyday use. Good condition. It may show some signs of time. Please pay attention to the photographs.
