Scandinavian teak sideboard produced in the mid-20th century, characterized by a rigorous construction and particularly elongated proportions, typical of Nordic production between the 1950s and 1960s. The structure is organized with three hinged doors and three top drawers integrated into the profile of the cabinet, a solution that accentuates the horizontality of the design. The doors have framed panels with mitre work, while the interior is divided by shelves of different heights. The raised base with central crossbar visually lightens the volume and recalls the essential language of postwar Scandinavian modernism. The drawers show green cloth-covered interiors, a recurring detail in Nordic production of the period. Good condition. May show signs of age. Please pay attention to the photographs.
