Refined Scandinavian oak sideboard, designed by Børge Mogensen and produced by Karl Andersson & Söner in the 1960s. The cabinet consists of two joined modules: one with sliding doors that conceal an interior shelf and the other with four drawers of different heights.The clean, proportionate lines are enhanced by the slender turned legs and the round, carved handles with overhanging frames, contrasting with the sculptural handles on the drawers. A remarkable example of the balance between functionality and formal purity typical of Mogensen’s work.
