Elegant Scandinavian sextet dating from the 1940s to the 1950s, made of mahogany with an intense and vibrant grain, capable of creating refined plays of light on the surface. The shaped brass handles, with their soft, slightly arched lines, introduce a precious textural contrast to the warmth of the wood. The large, well-constructed drawers flow with good fluidity and feature well-kept interiors, some with original dividers that testify to the functional attention typical of the period. This furniture fits into the context of postwar Nordic design, when the cabinet-making tradition was combined with an understated and elegant aesthetic, still linked to late Art Deco influences but already oriented toward Scandinavian modernity.
Good condition. May show some signs of time. Please pay attention to the photographs.
