Mahogany nightstand produced by Nordiska Kompaniet in the 1960s, an expression of the quality workmanship and understated elegance that made the Swedish manufacture famous. The lines are classic and well-proportioned: straight legs with a square cross-section support a compact body lightened by the lower shelf, a functional and visually airy element. The top is framed by a raised edge on three sides, a discreet detail that defines the profile and recalls the Nordic tradition of small storage tables. Nordiska Kompaniet (NK), founded in Stockholm in 1902, has been a benchmark for high-end Scandinavian design, collaborating with leading designers and promoting production that pays attention to materials, proportions and quality craftsmanship.
