Modular shelf system from the “String” series, designed by Nisse Strinning for String Design in Sweden during the 1950s. The composition consists of black lacquered metal side uprights and three thin-profile teak shelves. The String project represents one of the icons of postwar Scandinavian design due to the visual lightness of the structure and the flexibility of the modular system. Original “String – Made in Sweden” label present. Good condition. May show some signs of time. Please pay attention to the photographs.
