Understated lines and compact proportions for this teak secrétaire, probably of Danish manufacture dating from the 1950s/60s. The flap top conceals an articulated interior compartment with small compartments and two sliding doors. At the bottom are three drawers with carved handles. The raised frame on tapered legs lends lightness to the whole.
