The oak case precisely frames the teak fronts, enhancing their warm, compact grain. The eight drawers with solid wood turned knobs express Mogensen’s functional aesthetic, founded on proportion, solidity and quality craftsmanship. The “Øresund” series represents one of the most successful examples of his democratic approach to design, now highly valued in collectors’ circles for its formal balance and material authenticity.
