Sideboard model “232” designed by Børge Mogensen for FDB in 1964 and manufactured by C.M. Madsen, as indicated by the stamp on the inside. Made of oak veneer, it features a front with two hinged doors equipped with brass locks and components. The interior is organized with removable shelves and internal drawers, following a functional logic typical of Mogensen’s work. The cabinet was created as part of FDB, a Danish cooperative that developed designs by outsourcing their production to specialized manufacturers; in this case, C.M. Madsen is responsible for the construction. The drawers show dovetail joints, highlighting the quality of construction. Good condition. May show some signs of age.
