‘Frisco’ side table by Folke Ohlsson 60s

This piece of Scandinavian design was awarded the Gold Medal at the California Fair in 1960. “Frisco” was part of the ‘Bra Bohag’ production by Tingströms Furnitures, Sweden. “Bra bohag” means “good furniture” in Swedish, and behind this expression was the organization of designers who worked to improve the design of everyday furniture for Swedish homes in the 1950s-60s. This teak wood model stands out for its simple and linear design and the raised edge top, an original and practical element. Good condition. Conservative restoration has been done.
