Armchair \u201cmodel 83\u201d designed by Nanna and J\u00f8rgen Ditzel and manufactured by S.W. M\u00f8bler, a Danish company active after World War II. Nanna and J\u00f8rgen Ditzel are among the most prominent designers of the 20th-century Scandinavian scene. Active in both furniture design and textile and industrial design, they helped define an approach oriented toward comfort and the relationship between form and body, with a particular focus on seating. This model, dating from the 1960s, features a wooden frame with sloping legs and a wraparound back that follows the contours of the seat, creating a continuous form. Seat and back are upholstered and reupholstered in light-colored boucl\u00e9 fabric. Manufacturer\u2019s mark present on the frame: S.W. M\u00f8bler \u2013 Vejen, Denmark. Good condition.
